My daughter, Nicole, has done 2 NeuroFeedback brain therapy
sessions. Yesterday 3 hours after her appointment we went to Subway for dinner.
Previously Nicole gets Flatbread with seafood salad, olives and cheese,
not toasted with sweet onion. I usually order for her as she can't get the
words out. But yesterday as I am about to order she says, "I'd like
a 6 inch." I asked her what sandwich, it took a minute but she said
"Subway melt on Italian Herbs." She went on answering 'like a normal
person', "toasted, olives, pickles, sweet onion & mayo."
She did it by herself!!! It was
amazing! She was able to process the questions and choices and make a decision
in a reasonable amount of time with out coaxing and all of the "Nicole
answer me!" promptings.
I really appreciate EVERYTHING you
do for us, your continued research, your patience, your counseling, your
abilities and your gifts to heal. Especially that you haven't thrown your hands
in the air and given up on is.
Thanks!

Dr. Brett,
I just wanted to send you a Thank you. I really appreciate all that you
have done for me. There aren't words to express my gratitude for your
knowledge and expertise. You have made my life and my family’s life much
better. :) I just met with a man and his son for a meeting.
The man's wife was in a car
accident, all the damage done on her side of the car. She
was in a coma for 4 1/2 months
and is now bound to a wheel chair. She had many of the same injuries that
I
had. I told them about you and your staff, so hopefully they will take
advantage of your services to. Thank you Holly for letting your husband serve
those that need his talents & gifts. You are definitely an anchor and
I know that Heavenly Father blesses you for that. I don't really know my
full purpose here, but I know I have been spared twice. Thanks
again for giving me a fuller life back.

We have had
quite a journey finding our way to you and your
We have always known Mark struggled more with life than most people, but didn’t know why or what to do about it.
When he
finally talked to us in the summer of 2004 we began to realize the depths of
his despair. We encouraged Mark to seek
medical help. He was first diagnosed by our family physician as suffering with
depression, which the doctor felt was due to a chemical imbalance in his brain.
He told Mark he had probably had it most of his life. Medicine was prescribed; the side effects
were not tolerated very well, and he quit taking the pills. He got worse. We sought help from the psychiatric
world. There he was diagnosed as suffering
with bi-polar disorder. Again pills were
prescribed and a life sentence of drugs, side effects and minimal help was
offered. He was allergic to once
medication and could not tolerate the side effects of the others he tried. Each
failed treatment threw him further and further into despair, feeling that there
was no help; there was no hope.
By January 2007 Mark hit rock
bottom. He felt he no longer wanted to deal with the constant dark,
hopeless feeling that dominated his life. He had quit his job and
had isolated himself from most of the outside world. He reached the point
he just no longer wanted to live. It was during this crisis that
Mark agreed to come and see what you could offer. He had no expectation
except hope that you could at least help him find a way to get some sleep.
Mark’s expressed to me “Mom, my problems are deeper than a bone cracking and
some supplements can help. We have to get real.” But he agreed to
come, because we were desperate. We had to find something before we lost
him altogether.
I don’t know that I have ever heard
him say he felt “great”, ever! His dad and I were afraid to feel too
relieved at first, because we couldn’t believe the huge change in such a short
period of time. We were worried it wouldn’t last. We were
cautiously optimistic, guarded in our feelings inwardly, waiting to exhale.
It has been a month now, and Mark is doing wonderful. We have watched him
go through a couple of days where he was a little agitated, but he seemed to
handle it real well. There was no plunge into a depressive state.
We have begun to exhale!
I can’t begin to
think of how to adequately thank someone for saving my son’s life; for giving
my son life? But I will ever be thankful for you, and your
staff!! Thankful for the talents and skills you have. Thankful
you are humble enough to seek the guidance of our Heavenly Father to help you
make the right decisions. I am truly thankful for the blessings and
guidance of Heavenly Father in your life that you are able to offer help, hope
and healing to those who suffer. You have made a change in our son’s life
I had thought was not possible. You saved Mark’s life, literally, (which
salvaged our life and that of his sister). There are not words to express
the gratitude I feel. I love my son so much. He is precious to
me. My heart is full. You are wonderful. If ever I can be of
some service to you, you have only to ask. If our experience can help
someone else, I would be more than happy to share it in person or in a
letter. You will always be a special part of our lives. Thank you
from the bottom of my heart.

Last year seemed like a monumental struggle physically. Our family moved from Georgia to seek your help. I want to thank you again for your Wellness Therapy Program. Your programs gave me hope and I appreciate you for taking time to help me.It has been refreshing to find a doctor who uses all of his talents & expertise. It is even better to find a doctor who keeps trying to find opportunities to enable patients to help themselves. Your center has accomplished that!
